We understand that crimes against human life are just as important as crimes against other forms of life in our world. We believe in messages that recognize environmental crimes against communities like West Oakland & the South Bronx are just as pressing as those in the Western Arctic & the Southern Amazon.
On July 19, 2009, as part of Brave New Voices 2009, Life Is Living :: Chicago, IL was presented in collaboration with Chicago’s Kuumba Lynx in collaboration with MAPP International Productions. Held at Clarendon Park, and themed “So Fresh & So Green,” the event was a reclaiming & celebration of our lives during a time when cultures of death are being popularized.
